Unfortunately this website has somewhat been neglected since I found out I was pregnant in early 2020 aka the pandemic years. And as many of you will know, becoming a parent is not an easy ride! Let alone during a pandemic…
My circumstances meant I went back to work part time after maternity leave and then I also decided to launch my own brand and website design studio – Elm Leaf Studio. So I’ve been pouring my creative energy into that, working at an agency and of course being a mum. Yet ignoring art and illustration is like ignoring a part of myself and it became time to put some of me back into this. And with that came the desire to start painting and drawing again in 2022.
But I still didn’t do that much of it again due to a lack of time. It hit me again this summer that I really was missing being an artist/illustrator so again I started drawing and painting and came to the decision that I wanted to get back into craft markets. So as well as redesigning this website I have relaunched my shop! Phew
Beyond the redesign itself, I’ve been creating numerous products that I’ve never sold before featuring my artwork. Including coasters, mugs, tote bags, notebooks, postcards and bookmarks. Visit Shop
